Movies, projectors and backdrops are just some of the props that Eholyn uses to accent its shows. Members of the local band said the visual images helped to enhance their lyrics and draw even more attention to the stage. The band, based in West Point, Pa., recently recorded and independently rereleased a self-titled debut. The slickly produced efford is distribuited internationally and features moody keyboards, subtle horns and simple string parts. Echolyn captures the spirit of 70's supergroups, such as Rush and Yes, in its layered original songs.
